Reginal “Sugar” Lamptey is a Ghanaian born from Greater Accra Region, in a family of four(4). He is a student of Bishop Mixed Júnior High School in the Greater Accra Region. He is a third born of his parents with his father, Joseph Lamptey, a Ghanaian welterweight boxer.

Reginald is one of Ghana’s finest juvenile boxer in the Ghana National juvenile team. He has been spotted by Twenty-Nine Photo Studio, a firm specializes in boxing photography.

Reginald is a member of the Seconds Out Boxing Gym in the Greater Accra Region in the care of Coach Martey. He has his focus on, climbing the ladder to becoming the first juvenile to become a world champion. He is currently in the ongoing GREATER ACCRA BOXING ASSOCIATION BOOKS B’4 HOOKS’22 SCHOOL BOYS AND GIRLS 15 YEARS AND BELOW TORNAMENT and at the finals yet to have his very first big tournament win.

 

Reginald, enjoys his quite time with his father most and also enjoy the company of his manager, NiiOtoe Bruce-Tagoe, CEO of Twenty-

Nine Photo Studio. He started boxing at age of 8, he grew the love love for the sport when his father carries him to his bout anytime he has a fight. His passion for boxing boosted after watching his father won the Ghana national welterweight title, he then promised to walk in the shows of his father and be great for his father and his mother Ghana.

 

Reginald is now the youngest boxer in Ghana to become The Face of Twenty-Nine Photo Studio (29PhotoStudio), a photography firm based in Accra-Ghana, specialized in sports (Boxing). He yearn to step-up his game to become the best and first Juvenile boxer to become a world champion for his country Ghana.
